‘Scent of Wind’ named official selection for Festival des 3 Continents

Iranian film ‘Scent of Wind’ has been named an official selection for the Festival des 3 Continents in France.

Directed by Hadi Mohaqqeq, the movie will take part in the International Competition section of the 44th edition of the festival.

Mohaqqeq also stars in the film as a handicapped man who has to go from town to town to replace a broken electrical part.

‘Scent of Wind’ was awarded at the 27th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea.

Mohaqqeq previously won the New Currents Award and Fipresci Prize at the BIFF in 2015 for his film ‘Immortal’.

The 44th edition of Festival des 3 Continents will be held on November 18-27, with screenings in Nantes and in cinemas across the Loire-Atlantique region.

The annual festival is devoted to the cinemas of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
